kiffie: Ralph's First Appearance

I have here a zip file containing Ralph's first appearance, for all those who want it. He's not exactly BWAH-HA-HA funny, but then, personalities were lacking quite a bit in Silver Age folk.

It's more an FYI for anyone who wants to know his origin.

Right-click, save target as.

Safe to say that Ralph has come a long way from this. After all, now he's the World Famous Elongated Man, traveling the globe, solving mysteries, and being with his darling (but saintly!) wife, Sue. La la la, Identity Crisis, I can't hear youuuuuu...!

Now, to make this a tad more legit to be posting it to the Mavericks comm, do we have any plotting/planning/storylines to discuss that would be great with Ralph in the mix? Hijinks, escapades, shennanigans... Heheh. Hijinks. All those dotted letters right next to one another.

. . . Er. Right.

I have a somewhat idea with Dr. Light being involved, but nothing too detailed. Otherwise, there's that birthday idea you had, and that's about the extent of it. Jay has Guy ideas, and I don't think anyone has Fire-centric ones, so Ralph also needs focus. I'm not worried about Booster, Beetle, or Question, obviously.

I had a minor little plot bunny idea for Fire.

Okay, you know how she must be the center of attention? What would happen if she wasn't for awhile? Maybe Power Girl shows up for a wee little bit and flirts with Ted, or maybe the guys are just distracted by some really hot villainess or something? Anyway, I picture Fire hyper about her appearance or something-- gained a pound, found a grey hair, that sort of thing, (perhaps it's her birthday and no one has remembered or else it's the anniversary of Ice's death or something else that makes her slightly aware of her own mortality) and looking for reassurance from her old guy pal-victims that she remains as ...hot.... as ever, but they are all too busy/distracted to notice. So she gets more focused in her flirting. Then brazen. Then desperate. Just when it seems she's about to either A.) Carpe De Booster or B.)join a convent, she gets a sweetly romantic, kind of "missing you, thinking about you" letter from Oberon. Which is really all she needs, to be admired from afar, a little validation that she is still all that and a bag of chips.

Anyway, I don't have the ability to write it at present, but maybe for the future, if no plot bunnies attack and you need a Bea-centric tale.
